In Person: Legendary Movie Star
TONY CURTIS
with his classic film Some Like It Hot

With his irresistible combination of startling good looks, fast wit,
and wry charm, Tony Curtis (Born Bernie Schwartz in the Bronx)
rocketed to stardom in the 1950s. His comedies (Some Like It Hot,
Operation Petticoat) revealed him to be a skilled farceur and slapstick
comedian, while his dramas (The Sweet Smell of Success, Spartacus)
unveiled surprising depths behind his clean-cut image. Billy Wilder’s
Some Like It Hot, co-starring Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe
(who famously had an affair with Curtis) is widely considered to be
one of the greatest comedies of all time, and is the subject of Curtis’
new book. Don’t miss this rare opportunity tomeet one of the
legendary stars of Hollywood’s golden age!
