For the past 35 years, the Cinema Arts Centre’s co-founder Vic Skolnick has been a familiar face at the theater: introducing movies, leading audience discussions, and greeting moviegoers in our lobby.  2008 is a milestone for us. In addition to the Cinema commemorating 35 years of bringing the best in world cinema to Long Island, VIC IS CELEBRATING HIS 80TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

VIC IS ASKING YOU TO MAKE A SPECIAL DONATION TO THE CINEMA’S “$80,000 FOR 80 YEARS” BIRTHDAY FUND. Your generous gift will not only make Vic really happy, it will benefit everyone who comes to the Cinema for many years to come because this money is specifically earmarked to improve the moviegoing experience for the Cinema audience.
