Asian
Cinevision and the Cinema Arts Centre present
Asian-American
International Film Festival ‘05
Friday, July 29 — Sunday,
July 31
From the many lands of the Asian and American continents
— Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada, USA, and Indonesia
— comes this fascinating selection of seven films
that include drama, documentary, comedy, and science
fiction and that captures and reveals the rich cultural
diversity of people from all walks of life. These films
provide an opportunity to people of Asian descent to
see films from their home countries and for the Long
Island community to have a deeper appreciation of Asian
cultures.
