many ways you can get involved to help support your
Cinema Arts Centre. As a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization,
the Cinema relies on donations from members and other
supporters to survive and to thrive as a cultural arts
center.
Membership
Membership dollars account for approximately 20% of
the Cinema’s annual revenue and provide a consistent
and necessary source of income. Members enjoy many benefits,
including discounts on all film programs and advance
ticket purchases for special programs, including celebrity
events.

Planned Giving
This type of gift is “planned” since you
make the commitment now, but the gift is given to the
Cinema later. Some of the most common types of planned
gifts are bequests by will or living trust, gifts of
life insurance policies (or portions of insurance policy
proceeds) and Charitable Gift Annuities. Many of these
gifts offer special benefits, such as tax savings and
income for you and your loved ones. For more information

Honorary and Memorial Gifts and Naming Opportunities
Make a tax-deductible gift in memory, or in honor, of
a friend, family member, loved one, colleague, student
or to remember a special occasion, such as a birthday,
anniversary, graduation and holidays. Gift opportunities
range from memberships, film passes, engraved bricks
in our sculpture garden, or tax-deductible donations.

“Wish List” and In-Kind Gifts
The Cinema Arts Centre has a “Wish List”
of items that would enable us to enhance and improve
our ability to provide state-of-the-art visual and
audio programming, and/or will improve and enhance
the Cinema space both inside and out. In addition,
in-kind gifts, such as graphic design, printing, supplies,
etc. help the Cinema save money and provide the donor
with a tax deduction under applicable IRS regulations.

Program Sponsorships
Both corporate and individual donors sponsor special
programs such as film festivals, special series and
individual films with speakers, celebrities and guests.
In exchange, they receive benefits of advertising, on-screen
acknowledgement, signage and publicity in the Cinema’s
monthly film folio.
